restorative options

No one wants an implant - people want teeth. So it is our number one goal to replace your teeth and restore your smile. Just like purchasing a new car, there are many options available for replacing missing teeth with implant restorations. And just like a car - not all implant restorations are created equal.

Whether you are replacing one tooth, or a full arch - we will help you find the best option to restore your smile. During your initial consult, Dr. Oliveira will discuss your long-term functional and esthetic goals to help create a treatment plan which meets your needs and fits within your budget. Below are some of the implant restorations and services we offer to help restore your smile and confidence.

Implant Crown & bridge

Implant crowns (single tooth) and bridges (replacing multiple teeth) come in three parts:

  • The implant – This is a small titanium post that is placed in to the bone. It is allowed to heal for 3-6 months and form a secure bond with the surrounding bone and tissue.
  • The abutment – This is a small connecting piece that is attached to the implant to secure the crown after the implant has healed.
  • The restoration – This is the crown or bridge and the part that looks, feels, and functions like a tooth. We can help pick the best material for your mouth based on the strength or esthetics you need.

After the implant has healed we will remove the healing cap or temporary crown to take the final impression. Using this final impression we will fabricate a custom made abutment and crown. Utilizing our CEREC technology we can fabricate the abutment and all ceramic crown in the same day to ensure we restore your smile as quickly as possible.

implant supported dentures

Do you have a denture that falls out when eating, talking, or smiling? Traditional dentures often leave you searching for a more stable, long-term option for tooth replacement. Implants can help support and stabilize your denture to offer the full arch tooth replacement option you need to talk, eat, and smile with confidence. There are multiple implant supported denture options and during our consult we can discuss what option is best for you.

all-on-4 concept

If you are missing multiple teeth, have failing teeth, or are currently wearing dentures, you may understand that eating, talking, and smiling may be more difficult. Over 35 million Americans suffer from total tooth loss, and while many patients choose dentures, there are more permanent and natural solutions available. The All-on-4 concept can replace a full arch of teeth and provides a full set of teeth that is fixed in place. With the All-on-4 concept you won't have to take your teeth out at night, it will provide a natural look and feel and can give you the smile you've always wanted.

During our consult, we will evaluate the condition of your mouth and use a cone beam CT scan to evaluate the bone and supporting structures. After the consult we will extract any necessary teeth before placing between four and six dental implants. Once the implants are in place, we attach the dental prosthesis to the implants to give you something that looks, feels and functions like real teeth!
